The SAG-Producers Pension Plan Summary Plan Description (SPD) has been updated to reflect the changes made to the SAG-Producers Pension Plan (“the Plan”) since its last publication.

The Board of Trustees made the following changes in August 2026, which are also incorporated in the SPD:

  • Earnings Requirement for One Pension Credit Increases for 2028 and 2030.  Please see the 204(h) Notice for more information.
  • Five-Year Limit for Earnings Record Corrections. Beginning January 1, 2028, you will have a strict 5-year window following the end of the calendar year in which earnings were paid (or should have been paid) to request an earnings record verification or correction. Supporting documentation must be attached to the request, and past records become final once the window closes.
    • How the 5-Year Window Works: Payment Year Matters, Not Work Year - The 5-year window starts from the year you were paid, not the year you worked (see example below).

  • The 5-year limit does not apply if your submitted documents are sufficient for the Plan to verify earnings.

We strongly encourage you to review your reported earnings in Benefits Manager and in your Annual Pension Summaries to report any discrepancies as soon as possible. Acting early makes it much easier to locate supporting documents and ensures your records are accurate well before any deadlines approach,
