If you die in the 3-month period between your base earnings period and your benefit period, the life insurance benefit is payable. | Accelerated Death Benefit
| Terminally ill participants who are also totally disabled may receive 50% of their life insurance benefit while still living if they meet the Plan's requirements.

| Waiver of Premium | If totally disabled and under age 65, coverage can be continued without paying premium upon proper application to the insurance carrier for the duration of the total disability. | | |
